For internet marketing, social bookmarking and social posting is a bit like a bank account. Every time you social post someone else’s content that you genuinely like, its like making a deposit. And every time you social post something you produce, or some thing you’re only posting as part of an exchange, its like making a withdrawal. Thats even if you’re posting quality content.

So if you’re bookmarking your own content, as well as that of other people you like, thats fine. But getting a large group of people to bookmark your content, whether they like it or not, in exchange for you bookmarking theirs, whether you like it or not, is simply spamming the social bookmarking services.

Ok, so its still Catchup Weekend, but Ed has put out another video, emphasizing the importance of good content. No point in bothering unless its good - it’ll only get banned, or it won’t be read anyway.

Two Days to catch up on all of the homework!

Today you should:

1) Start using Social Poster to bookmark your blog/s. (you’ll need to sign up for a number of social bookmarking sites)

2) Submit an article for each of your sites to Ezine Articles

Today’s lesson is how to build a free blog using Tumblr.

Basically:

• sign up
• create the blog, with a name based on your keyword,
• create an article that tells a story, once again based on your keyword,
• and include your affiliate links in your article.
