Day 3 of the Thirty Day Challenge concentrates on learning to use the Free Wordtracker Keyword Suggestion Tool, to find keywords and check search volume for your niche markets.

Then checking the competition by checking out the Adwords ads for those markets on Google. A market with little in the way of advertising is a warning sign

There are some niche markets that are so competitive that its wise for a marketing newbie to avoid them - Fitness, Weight Loss, Vitamins, Real Estate, Dog Training etc

Google Hot Trends
Technorati
Yahoo Groups
Yahoo Answers

Homework: Chose 7 niche markets

Ed talked about the four main areas of the Challenge:

1) Market Research
the most important, as everything else depends on this

2) Traffic
nothing happens without traffic

3) Product
yes, the Challenge is about developing and selling a product

4) Conversion
and you aren’t going to sell it unless your sales page converts visitors to buyers

Well, somehow I managed to miss most of the Thirty Day Challenge Pre-Launch, but it was about setting up the free tools needed for the Challenge.

Most of them, I had set up already - Firefox (of course), Stumbleupon, Delicious, etc.

I’ve also joined a local Thirty Day Challenge team, which has set up a group on Facebook.

Yes, the third annual Thirty Day Challenge has started. This year, the challenge is to make $10. I don’t know that I’ll be able to fully keep up with the challenge, but I’ve decided to take on a small challenge of my own - I’m going to blog the thirty days.
