TDC Day 22 – Testing and Tracking
Tracking is the second most important thing you do in internet marketing (market research is number one).
Tracking shows you how you’re doing, and serves as an early warning system.
For example, with testing and tracking to compare two products, you might find that the lower price product sells better, and actually makes you more money than the other, higher price product. Or it can tell you of your traffic is dropping and you need to do more linking.
- You can use free tracking like Google Analytics or Statcounter to measure the number of people coming to a page.
- Then use a click tracking system to measure the number of people who click on your affiliate link
